Gvelebiani Law Sponsors DIS/GAA Arbitration Group Event on Corporate Disputes

Gvelebiani Law is proud to sponsor the first event in Tbilisi of the Germany-Georgia Arbitration Working Group, dedicated to arbitration in corporate disputes. The event takes place on 13 October 2026 at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi, starting at 17:00.

The event is jointly organised by the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) and the Georgian Association of Arbitrators (GAA), with the support of GIAC Arbitration Days.

Programme

• Opening remarks: Nata Ghibradze, German Co-Chair of the DIS/GAA Arbitration Group and Counsel at Hogan Lovells Cadwalader International LLP, and Davit Tabatadze, Chairman of the Board of the GAA.

• Keynote: Reinmar Wolff, Board Member of DIS, on the DIS Supplementary Rules for Corporate Disputes.

• Panel discussion, moderated by our founding partner Jaba Gvelebiani, on when arbitration clauses bind shareholders and corporate actors, focusing on arbitrability, jurisdiction and shareholder claims.
